well...

What I would do is leave it as a long ambient intro till about 1min mark, drop everything for 1 bar then a quick 2 beat up sweep and then bring on a phatt industrial style break out!
...atleast after listening that's what id do ;)

PainasaurusRex responds:

Hmm, okay, will do :D

Nice track

This track has an eerie sort of feel to it, and the beat at points sounds like its going to halt and half leaves you hanging but then kicks back just in time, I enjoyed it!

Well done mate!

4/5 8/10

DjTapey responds:

Thanks! :] Should I extend it, or leave it as it is? (feel free to PM me)

awesome...

Nice work mate!
The subtle intro got me into it and set the pace for the track, and it kept a nice consistent pace throughout, it has a very cruisy but borderline depressant feel to it at points but didn't quite push that far.
I think of this as a reflective sort of track, you listen to it and it takes you into a point in your mind and you go on a little bit of a trip ;)

Great work here mate, I enjoyed it!

JohnnyCellulose responds:

thanks so much for the positive review!

Nice track!

Nice work here mate!
I think this is one of your better tracks!
I like the synths you used, but some sound like they have a little too much reverb on them, and maybe a little too saturated.
But overall a real nice job here mate!

Keep em coming!

yours31f responds:

Thanks man, I really had fun with this. I agree that after hearing a few times, the synths are over saturated.

Not bad

Not bad mate,
I liked the rhythm quite a bit, and it had an interesting perc throughout.
The stand out problem for me is your bass, it needs a little mastering because it was certainly peaking and bring the rest of your track with it!
If you were to fix that one thing you could have a much nicer track ;)

yours31f responds:

I have been working with compressors to fix that problem, Thank you though.

Kewl

Nice job with this one mate!
It has an epic intro that got me hooked.
This is really good, a little variation in the melody would have been nice though.
What video game is this from?

Snooglebum responds:

It's not actually from any video game; it's an original work. I just threw it in Video Game because it was pointed out to me it sounds like it came from one. I'm glad you liked it!

Nice work

your track has an interesting feel to it and the synths used add an interesting dimension that I quite liked.
It has an airy feel kind of like a space theme mixed with some old 70's rock sounds like Neil Marryweather and the space rangers.

well done mate!

Spyderred responds:

Thank you very much! Will try working on some more songs in this style and see what I can get ;D

Sweet track

I really enjoyed listening to your track mate!
it kept me interested from start to finish, the drums are well done and the melody carries emotion which I really like in a track.
The rythem flowed nicely, it kept a consistent pace without pushing it hard but didn't hit the brakes and leave you hanging either.

Overall I think this is a great track mate!

DatBoiNC responds:

Thanks mate!

Awesomely done!

I think the most fitting genre that NG offers for this track would be industrial.
The track has a mechanical ambience about it, and is that a healthy serve of bit crushing I detect? it certainly works and adds to the character of your track.
This is another cruisy track that I quite enjoyed, it lacks progression but its also ambient so that makes it ok ;)
This track sounds like it could fit on the original movie soundtrack to "Resident Evil"

More great work mate!

RealPublic responds:

Awesomely done review :)

More stuff coming sooner than you think.

EPIC indeed!

This portrays is exactly what you described, a fast paced action scene.
When it started the first thing I envisioned was Halo...
This is filled with edge of your seatness (yes I made that word up) and suspense!
This is a brilliant piece of work mate, seriously!

Great work!

RealPublic responds:

Thanks for your review grooveT3K!

I have actually used some Halo 3 game parts, to do the video for it :)
